Pay It Forward

Our North Star Goal We’re Working Toward

We believe the work we do should extend beyond the lab and the boardroom.

While we partner with leaders and organisations to design, build, and guide the next era of innovation, our long-term intention is to ensure that the value, impact, and opportunity created through this work reach further, into communities, regions, and systems where access to technology, education, and opportunity remains limited.

This is not something we are fully built for yet, but it is something we are actively and intentionally working towards.

We believe in being transparent about where we are, where we’re going, and how we plan to get there. There is a vulnerability in sharing goals like this, but as we are trusted to help shape and hold the dreams of others, it feels only right that we share our own.

What we’re working toward

Our long-term vision is to establish The RobinsonHewitt Foundation, a dedicated charitable arm of RHC, to ensure that the innovation we help create contributes to a more equitable and accessible future for all.

This work will focus on three core areas, aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals:

  • Tech for good: supporting solutions that address real-world challenges

  • Education: expanding access to skills, mentorship, and learning pathways

  • Innovation Equity: ensuring more people can participate in and benefit from technological progress

At its core, this is about one underlying idea that when we innovate, this innovation should reach beyond the boardroom.

Our Approach: Crawl, Walk, Run

To bring this vision to life, we apply the same strategic discipline we use with our clients, building this work sustainably and with intention.

This is how we plan to get there →

  • At this stage, we are embedding “pay it forward” directly into how we operate today.

    • A percentage of revenue from client projects is donated to charities or foundations aligned to the focus of that work

    • That same amount is matched and allocated into our own reserves, held in a dedicated high-interest savings account to support the future establishment of The RobinsonHewitt Foundation

This approach allows us to contribute immediately, while intentionally building the financial foundation required to create something more enduring.

  • Once established, The RobinsonHewitt Foundation will begin delivering structured and measurable initiatives aligned to our strategy. These may include

    • Produce research and reports that contribute to thought leadership and system-level change

    • Fund scholarships, with an initial focus on supporting girls and women in STEM

    • Partner with organisations and initiatives that align with our mission to extend reach and impact

This stage formalises our efforts and begins to create consistent, visible outcomes.

  • At full maturity, our goal is for the Foundation to operate with dedicated programs designed to deliver long-term, on-the-ground impact.

    • Continue to allocate a portion of client project revenue to fund direct initiatives in under-resourced and developing regions

    • Deliver hands-on work in these regions by applying the same strategic, innovative, and advisory capabilities we provide to our RHC clients

    • Invest in local education ecosystems through school resources, scholarships, and partnerships with universities

The intention is not just to provide support but to enable agency, ensuring that those closest to the challenges have the resources, knowledge, and access to shape their own solutions.

Looking Ahead

We’re sharing this now because it matters to us that our work has meaning beyond immediate outcomes. It also matters that the organisations we work with understand what we’re personally working towards, even if we’re not there yet.

As we grow and settle into building the next era, this page will evolve with us. We’ll share our progress, learnings and opportunities to get involved over time.

Even though we’re only at a crawl, this is our commitment to build a future where innovation, knowledge, and opportunity are more widely shared, so that everyone can experience the ideas and dreams that land in their head.
