What if technology could show us that time isn't linear?
We tend to think of time as objective, where a year is a year, a month is a month, a day is a day. But there are different ways we experience and understand time:
Experienced time: how time feels to us; an hour can feel like five minutes or five hours depending on how we choose to spend it.
Agreed time: calendars, clocks, schedules, train timetables and eventually synchronised digital time.
Universal time: a much stranger and more contested understanding of time, particularly from a quantum perspective.
But what happens when technology can show us a different experience of time? What happens if it can pierce through the veil of our understanding of linear time and allow us to see into new dimensions or potentials to tell us our futures? Would you want to know?
